Overlooking the River Thames in a woodland setting, Orleans House Gallery, home of the borough's Arts Service, provides art for everyone with a changing programme of historical and contemporary exhibitions.
The collection comprises over 2,400 paintings and prints dating from the 18th century to the present day. The Baroque Octagon Room was designed by James Gibbs in the early 18th century. The main gallery may be temporarily closed from spring 2016 – please see website for details.
